Also, check out Doversaddlery.com. They carry doggy versions of horse blankets and they tend to be well fitted for the active dog!

Is Una a friesian? She looks like one. Charlie looks like a cleveland bay. Is he? I had a cleveland bay and she was a cool horse! My friend has a friesian mare and a clydesdale gelding that I helped her rescue. Big horses are awesome! More pics please! I like Charlie. You look fine on Una. Fatness happens as some of us get older! LOL! My basenji likes horses!

Poor Gizmo should write a book about his adventures! I would buy it for sure!

Are the stairs carpeted or slippery? Kismet was afraid of wooden stairs at first. As she got older, she got used to a variety of surfaces and now does not give it a second thought. Take your puppy places and expose to as many walking surfaces as possible while it is young. Best of luck with potty training and welcome to the forum! We all look forward to pictures and hearing about your adventures!

:DLove the adventure stories! Our shepherd mix was set free in the pen before our basenji Kismet and there was a squirrel party going on. Poor Kismet missed the fun since the shepherd Gypsy got there first and killed the squirrel before I could release Kismet. Better luck next time! There is no squirrel shortage here and they clean my bird feeders. I am sure the red tailed hawk likes a nice easy meal too!

:)I feed my pets Dynamite dog food. It is of much higher quality than stuff you can get at the pet store. It costs a little more but you aren't paying for fillers. The company is out of Idaho and carries products for other animals and humans. I am a distributor since my friend hooked me up with horse feed from them about ten years ago and sold me on their products! My pets eat better than I do!

Thanks for sharing! I found a retailer on the website here in the US. I am eager to try it for my critters and maybe for us humans too!

They look like an interesting breed! I like the ears on the Podengo! Good luck with the breed preservation. I had never heard of them before.

:DMake sure your puppy is warm enough! We tuck ours in with a light blanket at night. When we started crate training, my other dog who is not crated and my cat were staring at her so I covered the crate with a blanket to eliminate the "eyes"! Now it is a month later and we no longer cover the crate. When we turn off the TV at night and say "Time for bed" she automatically goes into the crate and nestles in her bed and we shut the door to keep her safe in her den! In the morning I get up early, take her outside and then she goes back to bed with her humans so she can warm her feet in the toasty bed with the big dog and the humans for a half hour or how ever long it takes us to roll out of bed! Hope it all works out and you don't end up sleeping in the dogs bed!
