I find it odd that there are two stray male PB Bs in this shelter. Perhaps someone lost them!

Do any of them look familiar?

I can see the cattle dog in there, but most of the coloring is definately B. Very cute little guy, I imagine he would have a huge prey drive too! Hopefully he finds a good home.

I would love to foster but since BRAT won't let me adopt I doubt they would let me foster.
I also have considered rescuing a dog every now and then on my own but I live on a retirement income so I really can't afford the extra veterinary costs. Being retired gives me more time than money. So I've decided the best I can do is volunteer at the animal shelter. Unfortunately the closest shelter I live to doesn't allow volunteers so I can only help at one that is twice the distance when I need to go into the city.

I can only help the dogs I do because there is a great network of Basenji people out there willing to help. I hope I can find someone who can help on this one, I don't usually have to ask Basenji people outside of BRAT but this is proving to be a tough one.
I am trying to transport a little Basenji mix from Birch Tree, MO, where he was saved from being gassed, to his foster home in Wichita, KS. The person who pulled him from the shelter will drive him towards Springfield, and his foster mom will head east from Wichita.
I am hoping to find someone around Springfield, MO who might consider transporting this dog part way to Wichita, Parsons maybe? I don't have a set date but I'd like to move him soon. He is about a year old, healthy, a little timid, good with other dogs.
If you could possibly help this little dog I'd love to hear from you, please e-mail giza1@wildroseinternet.ca I have a picture of him but I haven't figured out how to get it up here. Thank you so much.
