Dolces first day ever at the beach went really good. She loved everything and surprisingly she wasn't even that scared of the water. There was a part of the water that the tide was going out and you would be able to walk out pretty far but it was the same depth. I had taken her with me the first time and then she would just follow me it was adorable. I think she prefers the salt water verses normal water, sound weird but she was unusually calm about being in it. Here is a pic of my boyfriend with Dolce havin family fun in the water!

She loves to eat parsley from my garden as well. Shes a goat in a dogs body. When I ment spoiled I ment it in a fillet mignon and lobster everyday type of way. Some ppl go a little crazy that their dog can't eat in a bowl must be a gold plate…. IF she could have it that way she would gladly take that over a bowl any day lol but that's because she thinks shes the queen of the world.

My boyfriend and I go to a mom and pop pet supply store that is literally 30 seconds away from our home. We have a bearded dragon name Guicci as well as our B, the love of our life, Dolce. We get fresh crickets every few days for Gucci so the manager is very familiar with us but more so my boyfriend since hes on cricket duty. The other day she gave us a shopping bag FULL of about 30 packages of 8 oz sample bags of all these different high quality dog food such as Taste of the WIld, Wilderness, Wellness, Signature (which I have never seen before), and also this food called The Honest Kitchen dehydrated dog food that you add water to (also I have never seen this food). Dolce loves getting a new food to try everyday. She has not had any issues with the different flavors or brands. She never cares about eatting her food unless its a brand new bag from the store and she gets bored the next day or I am giving her some veggies or rice if I have it.. I don't want her to be spoiled to expect these things all the time and then have to deal with her refusing her regular food. She is def enjoying herself!

I have been begging my dog to yodel everyday… she is tired of me askin hahah!

Dolce gets super excited to see me and i dont mind her putting her paws on me. If i kneel down or we go by the bed she puts her paws on my chest and sometimes jabs me in the eye or trys to paw my face to place.. then we have a calm convo on how thats not allowed and since I'm no longer excited she chills out and cuts it out.

I can not believe ppl would actually steal pets.. what is wrong with the world?!

Maybe in dog heaven he will be able to be at peace (mentally and emotionally) and finally be happy around all the other doggies up there.. You are very brave my thoughts are with you

This is weird but I was just wondering if Dolce is just bored with EVERYTHING all the time or this is just prissy Basenji behavior. She is constantly yawning, she could be playing and going nuts and randomly yawn a few times, also just relaxing she will do the same. I always look and her and say, "oh goshh your life is so hard, all that playing and love must get boring," she just looks are me and blinks and then licks my hand. I also once read on here or maybe on the BCOA FB page that someone had posted behaviors of aggressive dogs and one topic they discussed was dogs who yawn… Again when she is yawing I talk to her and tell her, "OMGGGGGG stoppp!!! You are being so aggressive, I am so scared, don't try to attack me with your cuteness." Yes, I talk to my dog in the language of sarcasm and I believe she understands, I think its a natural language for B's hahah. I clearly know she is NOT aggressive in anyway I NEVER heard her growl or make an negative or aggressive behavior towards another dog or human, even if they were being mean or aggressive to her. I made sure when she was a puppy we did EVERYTHING possible to not be affected by negativity and she is amazing and it blows my mind sometimes how she lets things go, such a proud mommy. Anyway... do most B's yawn or even other dogs yawn a lot and are not aggressive as this article suggested?

Looks like the dogs are confused.. why is this bacon alive… MMMmmmmm Bacon stips haha I knows its Beggin but I wanted to seem clever hahah! Btw ur pups are so adorable! I love them laying together all over each other, sooo funny!

I am in love with this dog. He is so cleaver! I prefer purebred B's BUT he has such cool style and I love his coloring and silly lil tail!

I agree the running, the water, and the laying out all stretched out look a lot like my baby girl! Hahaha not an expert in anyway but not a lot of dogs I know do those weird things..

Hope all is well with Oakley!! What king of cone does he have on? They have the inflatable ones that might be better for him and def more comfy.. I remember taking Dolce with me to my job when I was doing vet tech work and putting her in the cages she was able to escape one of the cages so I had to put her in the super duper large dog cage but she would try to climb it to the top do flips in it.. the thing is even if I was there she would go crazy
