I didn't contact BRAT. However, I reached out to the Colorado Basenji Rescue. I was under the impression that the C.B.R. was the CO 'arm' of BRAT. Is that correct? I never thought it'd be so hard to find a Basenji :-)

Thank you Tanza, we have looked at the breeder directory and reached out to all of the breeders in CO. SkyHi never responded to our e-mail, and Pat (so nice) doesn't breed anymore.

I just checked out the site, thank you Stazy. We'd like to meet the dogs before making a commitment, and I don't think that we'd be able to get out to VA. If it was a bordering State we'd be willing to work something out with a good breeder. I tried Mile High too but they never responded to my e-mail.

I'm looking for a puppy-young Basenji in the Denver, CO area; no preference for gender or color. We have filled out applications with the CBR. However, I wanted to 'throw a line' out here as well.

We live near a very large dog park, and the puppy will be going to a loving home. If you've got any questions feel free to ask.
