I say no. I don’t think you have extra time much less for a dog. You will end up with a urine covered dog that is stressed and miserable.
Maybe you could Pet sit on your days off.

Dogs do not usually “just” turn on someone they love

Could be indigestion and tummy is trying to get rid if something.

When Chakka had her Anal glands removed there was a large wound with stitches at her butt.
We had to wash it 3 times a day.
I stuck her in the kitchen sink and ran warm water over her anus. With a soft cloth I wet and patted it to get all the poop and crusty blood off. She was fed treats as she stood there.
Thick baby wipes work well too...unscented

Mine used to super clean his feet and bite his toe nails.

Keep away from other dogs and give extra love.

Our male did the same thing when we moved to a house. I picked up some if his poop from a walk and out it in our yard. Three poop piles later he got the idea.

Why are you taking him to a groomer?
Basenjis are self cleaning and may suffer from allergies and maybe skin issues.
Please stop bathing and grooming him.
Dandruff can also be a sign of stress or maybe your home is too dry?

My Baby lived to 16 years old and if she wouldnt have a stroke I think she had a couple more years in her

We eventually had our girl’s removed. Constant leaking and everything stinky. She used to try and lick it up and was so embarrassed.
Then she was happy and odor free.

Our Rescue took over a year to even have life in her eyes.
She never yodelled and only made a nice once or twice.
It sounded like “ woo woo woo yeah”
She never played even though our male tried and tried.
She had 10 great years with us.

Some are just like that I guess. Every few weeks we had to go to the Vet and get them drained and antibiotics.
If it keeps up it may be something to consude4. We had Pet Insurance so it wasn’t too much.
