Benji says "Thanks!" (He's pretty vain) But then again, I've never met a Basenji who's face I haven't fallen in love with . . .

Thank you for the update. It seems the recalls are growing faster than we can keep up with them. I find it very worrisome to imagine these dangerous chemicals in our pet's food - in which we should supposedly trust - and I'm wondering if something like this won't one day show up on our own dinner tables soon!

I'm a new member and my one year old Benji has a horrible habit of stealing our spot on the couch or rocking chair, and proceeds to growl at us when we return! He sounds like a mad-rabbit sometimes - but only during these occasions. I think he does on purpose; as if to challenge us or something. He's otherwise affectionate, and never mean.

Do any of you believe this is normal? And could this progress to eventual biting? Hoping someone out there has an answer . . . :confused:

Hi! I've had the pleasure of raising Benji for over a year now. Still young, he is somehow much wiser than his years. I soon discovered he was not going to content himself with merely being our pet. Instead, he has become our equal, a friend like no other, and -I forgot to mention - a handful! And I've found him to be as great a singer as I am, and he can yodel a mean one to a harmonica . . . I've joined this forum in honor of him, and glad to see so many of us are just as attached to these mischevious members of our family.:D
