Adopted the sweetest pup in September and have been trying to narrow down her breed and randomly discovered the Basenji breed and am convinced it’s dominant in her mixture being her considering her temperament, personality, and physical attributes (wrinkles on the forehead, shorter snout than skull, never barks, independent, intelligent, stubborn; loving, and affectionate, hound characteristics). Awaiting embark dna test right now but now feel that’s more for the secondary part of the mix and health info. She was born on a reservation in NM and transported to Northern Utah Humane Society which makes me highly question my hypothesis but it’s hard evidence to argue against.
