I am fairly new to owning a basenji, my boo is going to be one. I just recently he was not eating so i changed his food to something all natural. I was worried to death about him. He is now eating lots and healthier. But maybe if you have a friend with another basenji or even adopting an older one might cheer him up. i hope your basenji gets better.

Yes, my male basenji, he is red and white. When he is done playing occasionally he starts biting his nails. Only for a short while.

i have tried seating near his food bowl and pretending i am eating it, puting the food down for 15 minutes only. It just seems he is drinking more than he is eating. also has 2 lighter patches on his coat. I am taking him to the vet after the holdiay. man this is a little stressful . nightt all
