Our 7 year old male has recently been diagnosed with Fanconi and placed on the Gonto protocol. I realize that the protocol does not work for all dogs but what can we expect? If we can get his chemistry balanced will the excesssive urination stop or at least slow down? He seems to be feeling ok, but has to go out about every 90 minutes or so.
Does any one have experience with dogs on the protocol? what can we expect or what else can we do ?
