I checked the Brat site and didn't find any Basenjis near Michigan. I've searched tons of Basenji sites with no luck. I was surprised there are such few breeders breeding Basenjis because in my opinion they are one of greatest dogs you could own. I had one for 10 years and he passed away due to diabetes. Now I'm looking for another one. I prefer to find a pure Basenji and not a mix.
