So I rescued this little (4 lb) Chi mix, and the more I read about Basenji's the more I think she's mixed with one. She's super sweet, smart, very energetic, very athletic, has a great nose, finds lots of things on our daily walks, hops when she runs, has a wrinkled brow and almond shaped eyes and she rarely barks. Think Basenji's can be so small though?

I too just rescued a Chihuahua mix and I'm thinking she's mixed with Basenji? She's about a year old but only 4 lbs. She's very high energy, and athletic, doesn't bark (except when someone's at the door), has a great nose for sniffing out dead stuff on our walks (we live in a wooded area), she's got the wrinkled brow, almond eyes, and she's just as sweet as can be.
