Farrah had been able to sleep all night without having to get up since she was about 4 months old. aside from her and our min pin trading places from the top of the bed to the bottom they don't hardly move. we don't give them any food or treats after 7 pm. i think that helps. they are like toasters in keeping us warm. no need for electric blankets.

RE: Basenji's and Puppies
our first Basenji Kiah we got her when she was 2 years old. when she was 5 years old we got a min pin that was 6 weeks old. from the first time she saw him she mothered him. she would play with him and also showed him that she was the boss. she gave him a bath everyday. she would start on one side of his body and the give him a little nug and he would turn around and wait until she was done with the other side. we could not take him anywhere with out taking her too. if we did she would sit and weep until he was back home. she lost her sight the last 2 years of her live and he then became her eyes. she would follow him around the yard. if she got to far from him he would go back and get her. the vet that we had at the time told us to always try to bring a puppy in with an older dog and there would not be any problems.

Matton had one of the best mexican place at one time. always had to plan the trip so we could eat there. do not belong to BRAT have thought about joining. only problem would having to let them go when they found homes. i get to attached to my dogs.

hello i'm Farrahs_mom
she is our 2nd basenji our first one was kiah we got her when she was 2yrs old. had her for 12 years before she past away. loved her dearly. then when she was 6 yrs old we got a min pin for her to play with. she mothered him. he got a bath everyday by her. she lost her sight the last 2 yrs of her life and he led her around. then 6 months ago our daughter found Farrah for us. she was 8 weeks old and very lovable. Kiah was red and white and Farrah is black and white. she is a hand full. she loves being outside and has even enjoyed the snow that we have here in Illinios. the min pin thinks that he is her boss but she has already started giving him baths. he has taught her that it is best to sleep under the covers with mom and dad that way you don't get cold and then to sleep in the middle so you don't fall out of bed. we love our dogs and spoil them worse than the grandkids.
