I looked up Delores Park. I know of it, but have never seen it. It's dang BIG! Very nice. Was Shaka male or female? Not to get too personal, but were you in a house or an apartment? With a Basenji... more impressive if an apartment. That aside...to be in a big ol' city like San Francisco with a Basenji, who lived to be 17, I'm clapping loudly while standing. WELL DONE! We, who love our Basenjis, salute you!!

I'm not on Instagram, but I just might have to so I can see your pics. Yoda is such a great name for a Basenji. I'd use Grogu or Yaddle on a Basenji in a second if I could. Be well, think happy Yoda&Shaka thoughts and make yourself some Masubi.

You and Scarlett will enjoy the class - and it already sounds like you have a lot of the basics going very, very well. 🙂 I found the part of the class I didn't like was the first 10 minutes where all dogs were allowed off leash to socialize. With FoPaws puppies being so well socialized, I found that first 10 minutes just wound up Kipawa so much, with all the playing! Then, it took me a good 10 minutes to calm him down enough to really work well in the class. The good news is that I am seeing as Kipawa ages and becomes more respectful he doesn't need to go wild when he first meets a new dog. I also think that not taking him to the play area off leash park is also helping him.

Great pictures folks 😃 I think the phrase 'Chow Hounds' really applies.

In the month with us Leo has learned that he gets no food while we are eating. So he lays on the rug under the table making sure we don't drop anything. If there is food on the table with no-one around that is fair game, my Naan the other night was a target.

He will 'surf' the counters as in this first week picture, but now if we see him he knows OFF is coming so he pretends that he stretching with a 'What!, Who Me?' look.
