Most of the BRAT folks I know, spend $$ to help dogs that they are moving to other homes.
They pay for gas, postage, food, collars, crates…really, almost anything you can think of to get the dogs into shape to go to the new homes with all the "things" that they need.
I am afraid I will not be able to give these things to fosters, as I have in the past, due to the paycuts we are all taking.
BUT most of us are working for the dogs.
We are lucky to have a great support group to help us.
*URGENT* TX AZ Basenji mix transport help
-
There is a 2 year old female Basenji mix in the City of Irving Animal Services (TX) near Dallas.
She is scheduled to be euthanized on Tuesday, but I have a definite home for her at an animal sanctuary in Kingman, AZ. I've got someone who can pull her from the shelter, but she's got to get to AZ. Can we get her there? Is anyone able to help? Is there anyone who could maybe board her for a few days?
"Liza" weighs about 35 pounds, very friendly and is healthy.
Please, if you can help in any way, e-mail me at: giza1@wildroseinternet.ca ASAP
Thanks
