Looking for a basenji pup? Expanding your pack? Teri Cuzzetto, Gresham OR, has 18 puppies from three different litters for sale. Super cute and many are show quality. She's on Facebook or contact her through AKC Marketplace. Takari's Basenjis. I have one of her dogs and she is the nicest girl; she's also an amazing lure courser! Tell her Sarah sent you.

Definitely go with Tanza's suggestion. Any breeder not listed there probably is not responsible. If you find litters, post here who you are looking at and talk to folks who have their line.

@Buddys-Pal Keep in mind that there was no Fanconi test in '05. The linkage test came out in '07.... HOWEVER, there is no reason to ever again produce Fanconi in Basenjis... There is a direct DNA test and as Buddys-Pal pointed out, look for the test results yourself, they are public at www.offa.org

Yes i have been very interested for a long time. Iv been in contact with a Breeder from England for a while now and they are expecting a summer litter. While iv been speaking to the breeder i feel comfortable that she will be more than helpful and is willing to all of the above. Like you said the price was the last thing on your mind, this goes for me too. I was just wondering along the lines so i could save to buy my puppy. Thanks for the help :)
