Shelley, your captions always crack me up. They both look great together. If it is Malaika looking out to sea, perhaps she is thinking, "oh, that would be a good place for Kwame." lol
She told me that was indeed what she was thinking, lol
Malaika has a new baby brother Kwame, Kennel name Memetuka Karaki.
He is eight weeks old and was bred by Mrs Victoria Gaskell.
His Dam is Zordia's Kinyamkela ShCM and his Sire Eng Ch Zordia's Indiana Jones.
He is settling well and has met Malaika, Tom and Jerry.
Sleeping with 3 of his littermates before we set off for home

Meeting Malaika
It's been a long day
He's driven her to drink
What a cutie! Congrats!:)
Those are such great pictures. I’m so jealous because I still have to wait a couple weeks to get my pup. She will be so old (12 weeks)

I hope the time passes quickly for you. It is common practice in England for pups to go to new homes at 8 weeks.
Most breeds here place at 8 wks, except toy breeds. I know many basenji folks who place at 8, but many also do 10 to 12. I really think 8 wks is fine for homes with experience and other dogs, but it is the breeder's call.
Wow what a cutie! I love the rearing teeth one! What spunk!
He certainly seems a fiesty little chap, Debra
He is gorgeous :p! Malaika must be happy she has new playmate at home and so do Kwame :).

I believe it is common all over the Europe.
I love that "I am puppy, hear me ROAR" photo. He's just adorable.
Love him!!
I didnt know you were having a mini Rocco!
Yeah, I’m waiting until 12 weeks for personal reasons, not because of the breeder. I hope I can get equally as cute of photos.
What a cuuutie! You must be so happy!!
Absolutely adorable..congratulations…you lucky you..two lovely basenjis now.
what a feisty little guy! so cute!
He is adorable, and already "boxing"! Congratulations to you and your pack.
Thank you everyone for your comments, it's great to share our excitement with you
So sweet, we have his big brother
Very cute, congratulations on your new addition!
I have a very similar "rearing up" pic taken when Jigsaw met my shepherd mix, Sassy, for the first time. Must be a basenji greeting pose!
What a cute little boy! Love the closeup picture - those little wrinkly faces are irresistable.
